Projects Overview
TakeUI is a modern design-asset marketplace where creators and developers can purchase high-quality UI components, templates, illustrations, and design files to use in their personal or commercial website projects. The brand required a visually engaging and conversion-focused website that clearly communicates its value: premium, ready-to-use design assets that save time and elevate quality.
Doovisual was responsible for the full website design, UX architecture, interface system, and overall digital branding.

Objectives
- Present WP Travel’s value-proposition: “Create, design and launch your very own powerful travel website in minutes” (as stated on their site). wptravel.io
- Design a UI/UX system that builds trust with travel-business clients (agencies, tour operators) by highlighting key features (itinerary builder, booking engine, payment gateways, reporting).
- WordPress.org
- Increase user engagement and conversions — from website visitor to plugin download or purchase of pro version.
- Ensure visual coherence and responsive design across devices, reflecting travel-industry aesthetics with clarity and professionalism.
Requirements
- A homepage that communicates the plugin’s capabilities, trust signals (number of sites powered, user testimonials), and calls to action (“Download”, “View Demo”).
- Feature pages describing plugin modules: booking-engine, payment gateways, itinerary builder, reports, integrations. wptravel.io+1
- Clear UI for non-technical users (travel agencies) to understand how the plugin simplifies setting up a travel website.
- Visual presentation of the travel industry: imagery, icons, layout that supports tourism and booking context.
- Responsive design across desktop, tablet and mobile, and architecture that allows future scalability (new modules, global languages, themes).
Problem
Prior to the redesign, WP Travel’s website faced challenges:
- The breadth of features (tour listing, booking flows, multiple modules) left visitors unsure exactly how the plugin fits their specific travel-business needs.
- The visual identity and information architecture did not sufficiently emphasise ease-of-use, quick setup, and trustworthiness for global agencies.
- Conversion paths (download, demo, buy) needed clearer framing and design emphasis to turn browsers into customers.
Solutions
- Conducted a stakeholder workshop to map out key personas (tour operators, travel agency owners, freelancers) and their journey from discovery → evaluation → purchase.
- Built a visual design system tailored to travel-industry context: hero imagery of trips, icons representing booking/payment/reporting, clean layout to foreground features.
- Re-architected IA: grouped features into intuitive modules (Booking Engine, Itinerary Builder, Payment Gateways, Analytics). Each module page clearly outlines benefit + visual preview.
- Designed strong CTAs on homepage and sub-pages: “Download Free”, “View Live Demo”, “Upgrade to Pro”. Introduced trust-elements: “Powering travel sites worldwide” etc. wptravel.io
- Ensured responsive design and performance-optimised front-end so users on mobile/tablet can explore features and begin demo seamlessly.
- Built for scalability: design supports adding new modules, themes, documentation sections and global localisation without major redesign.
